Day 1: Green Gold Eco-Lodge
Day one takes a bit with the logistics involved, so you'll be happy to have your feet land in the small Caribbean town of Parismina and then your short hike to Green Gold Eco-Lodge. Dinner and breakfast are included with a stay here.

Day 2: Casa Tamandua
Owned by Urritrek, this is a new(ish) stay. The accommodations at Casa Tamandua vary quite a bit ranging from free camping all th way to a private room with air conditioning. (AC is a good idea, it's hot around here.) Meals are extra, but available.

Day 3: Barbilla Rainforest Lodge
Your mountain legs will kick into gear today as you leave Casa Tamandua and hike up and up to Barbilla Rainforest Lodge. They are located right on the edge of the indigenous territory.

Day 4: Finca Tres Equis
Combining Stages 3 and 4 is suggested by the Mar and Mar and works well with the 14 day itinerary. Your indigineous guide will take you past the cable cart crossing the Pacuare River and all the way to Finca Tres Equis

Day 6: Río del Valle Posada Turística
Up and over the hill giving you a great view of Lake Angostura. Then, after crossing coffee fields you'll meander along the Rio Pejibaye. After stopping for a quick ice cream and signing the hiker log book at Finca CoVaCam, cross the Pejibaye at the iconic Camino bridge and then walk a short distance to Río del Valle Posada. They offer both camping and lodging here.
