Day 1: Green Gold Eco-Lodge

Day one takes a bit with the logistics involved, so you'll be happy to have your feet land in the small Caribbean town of Parismina and then your short hike to Green Gold Eco-Lodge. Dinner and breakfast are included with a stay here.

Day 2: Casa Tamandua

Owned by Urritrek, this is a new(ish) stay. The accommodations at Casa Tamandua vary quite a bit ranging from free camping all the way to a private room with air conditioning. (AC is a good idea, it's hot around here.) Meals are extra, but available.

Distance: 24.3KM -- Note the distance gap is due to taking a boat from Green Gold to Muelle Goshen which accounts for a lot of the kilometers

Day 3: Barbilla Rainforest Lodge

Your mountain legs will kick into gear today as you leave Casa Tamandua and hike up and up to Barbilla Rainforest Lodge. They are located right on the edge of the indigenous territory.

Day 4: Tsiobata

Tsiobata makes for a short day but it can be challenging terrain, especially if there has been rain. There are no supply options so make sure you arrange your meals in advance. You will also need an indigenous guide for today as well as tomorrow as this splits the indigenous section into Day 4 and 5.

Day 5: Cabañas el Paso del Viento

Cabañas el Paso del Viento is a popular place to stay but if you wish to add a few kilometers to your day consider a night at Pacuare Mountain Lodge.
